Thank you for clicking on our page of the St. Saviour's Church website.
Lent is almost over and I hope you have been able to carry out what you had planned. It has been difficult for some to keep up with Lent groups and we do all miss meeting up, and sharing fellowship, prayer and discussion together.
Our new Mothers' Union evening group for younger members has been delayed like many other events. We will however, set this group up as soon as we are allowed to hold meetings.
Many events and projects have had to be suspended through this difficult time of corona virus, but I am sure all will be well in the end.
As Mothers' Union members we will be praying for our sisters and brothers in the 84 countries where there are Mothers' Union members. Many of our members will be finding it much harder than we are, as they lack so many facilities; we can pray for them. We were fortunate to hold our Lent soup lunch in early March and as a result raised £180, thank you to all who came and supported us.
We have recently sent £380 to Mary Sumner House for the members for the overseas work. I am sure this will be a great help.
We keep the people working in the NHS in our thoughts and prayers. We also keep all those who are being such good neighbours in our prayers.
Please continue to stay safe and pray and talk to one another.
I will try and keep this updated and hope you find the information useful.
It is Palm Sunday this week followed by Holy week and Easter. Members of St.Saviours' Mothers' Union wish you all a Happy and Blessed Easter. love Mary x

What does love look like?
It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has the eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.
